Pre Show

Sound

  • Feedback foley mics check microphones
    • Start with single microphones without suppression gate
    • Check single microphones with supression gate (sounds to check: quiet fabric knrshknrsh, typewriter)
    • Check with all microphones on
  • Check headsets, wireless mics, contact mics for feedback
  • Check ableton + qlab sound volume
  • Check foley mics positions + rotation ability
  • Check cable sound + volume

Connections

  • Check Stream Deck → Ableton + QLAB
  • Check Ableton → QLAB
  • Check QLAB → Projector
  • Check Camera → QLAB

Misc

  • Prepare headsets, wireless mic – check for battery

Part 1 - Foley

  • UNSEEN LOAD ME – Load before Show start
  • UNSEEN START OFF – Doors
    • DO: DCA Mics -15, DCA Mics, QLAB, ABLETON, PA, HS: ON
    • Dancers sitting on benches
  • VIDEO 1 : Gorge gives GO
  • UNSEEN START ON – – as soon as first on stage
    • Dancers prepare stage, all leave expect Yi-Wei
  • UNSEEN START OFF – might be skipped, can be used if Yi-Wei leaves stage
  • UNSEEN YiW Kuan 1 – YiW on stage, Kuan joins
    • Yi-Wei, Kuan do stuff mainly on rear / high mics
  • UNSEEN YiW Kuan 2 – Yi-Wei turns Mic LM bei 180 degrees
    • Yi-Wei is on LM / Boom Mic

Transition

Part 2

  • Polina enters room, circles around wooden stage
    • Others join
    • UNSEEN BREATHING, 1. Headmics on – Last one (Kuan) rises from bench
    • Heavy Breathing, 'first'
    • Coupling, then grouping
    • 2. First Trio – Polina, Kuan, Mathilde hug and run
    • 'Princess' - Li-Wei is carried like on a throne
    • Clothes change
  • UNSEEN BRET+CONT: Yi-Wei Solo
    • Loud stomps
    • CAREFUL: Bass feedback contact mics / ableton delay might happen → lower bass boost Con L & Con R or lower delay
  • Yi-Wei Back in grouping
  • Polina Solo – Video Go
    • 7. LIVE VIDEO: Polina looks at the screen, fists up in the air (wait for 2s) –> GO
    • Yi-Wei: Live Camera
    • 8. Close Shutter – Yi-Wei closes Camera, stream is black –> GO
  • Everyone sits down
  • Circling around stage, one after another joins – this repeats during the next minutes
  • Yi-Wei + Joan Solo
    • Joan holds and turns Yi-Wei, then they stand close to each other.
    • Mark grabs camera
    • 9. Joan and Yi-Wei out of platform – Right front corner: Yi-Wei steps out of platform
      • Mark live camera
    • Yi-Wei holds Joan, he 'horses', both run over stage READY FOR UNSEEN CONT
    • Yi-Wei + Joan leave stage again
    • 10. Live Cam reset – Mark leaves Camera
  • UNSEEN CONT: Before Adrian Solo; he starts with a high jump, GO on landing
    • QLAB 7: SHUTTER CLOSE: as soon as Mark loses Camera, stream is black –> GO
    • everyone sits on bench
    • Mathilde grabs hazer
    • Everyone circles
  • Anna joins Adrian on stage
    • Standing/walking as pairs of two around stage
